This pack contains a birch wood hoop (frame) approximately 0.8 cm thick x 7 cm high and the hairless goatskin patch approximately 10 cm larger than the diameter of the frame (if you want a larger one, please contact info@percuforum.com).

Skin assembly

To mount the patches on the wooden frame, you must first soak them in water for a few minutes. This will allow the leather to become malleable and regain its rigidity when dry. We recommend waiting a minimum of 24 hours to see the desired result, although this time will depend on the humidity of the environment.

Skin types

This article includes a thin goat skin suitable for the thickness of this frame. If you want to use a thicker skin (with hair, from a cow, horse, etc.) we recommend that you request a thicker wooden frame (1cm or 1.5cm). Please note that these types of special frames are made on demand and require a minimum of 5 or 6 units for processing. You can see all available shamanic drum frames in our catalogue.
